Back in stock with a brand new look to reflect the fields of lava rock with mossy tops you can find throughout Iceland. This exfoliating soap bar takes you on a journey to an Icelandic campsite. Mossy rocks, overcast skies, and sitting around a midnight campfire with your friends. This soap embodies the essence of “hamingju”.

Iceland was first settled by Norwegians in 870 and was soon inhabited by Scandinavians and Gaels, which gives Icelanders of today their genetic makeup. Though the climate can be harsh at times, they powered through and now have over 300,000 inhabitants. The landscape ranges from mossy mountains to lava rock fields, and has many glorious waterfalls. It lightly rains almost constantly in Iceland but as Icelanders say, "there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes". In the winter months, the sky is completely dark aside from the beautiful luminescence of the northern lights. Nordic folklore suggests these lights are the shining of the Valkyries, or "Valkyrjur" in Icelandic and Old Norse. According to the Inuit people of the Nordic countries, the Sámi, laboradorite shows it's colors because the northern lights are trapped in each stone.
